" Computers, televisions, smartphones and tablets are all responsible for keeping more kids more sedentary and mesmerized by a screen, but a new study in Pediatrics found some surprising differences among these devices and their relationship to childhood obesity. It turns out that only television — in particular, paying close attention to what’s on the tube — is associated with heavier kids. "

All I have to say is well DUH! I am shocked it took them this long to figure that out! When you spend hours on hours sitting down in front of a tube, it's not going to help you lose weight no matter what the diet commercials tell you about drinking diet cokes and eating their diet foods.

You know this is why they hate the internet. We can get unbiased information, stuff that's not censored, and actual truth here. You can't get that with television. Even before TV, we had radio but when TV came out it was the dream come true for programming people.
