Recovering from TV addiction
Re: Recovering from TV addiction
Well... starting over with this... I watched too much of a show at work when it was on... I tried not to watch it but I kept putting down the work I was doing and looking up at the screen that other people were watching so I decided to be honest about this whole thing and I am starting over. I am now on Day 4.

Television in public settings can be quite tempting at times. (Or annoying, depending on your point of view.) It's something that's being pushed at you, and in such instances it takes a bit of determination to abstain.Rose1 wrote:Well... starting over with this... Anyway, if you find that you've given in to the temptation to watch a show, then the best thing you can do is to remember that a habit that have been a part of your life since you were a toddler, isn't easily overcome.
So don't worry, better luck next time!

Oh well... the journey continues... turns out it is not so easy to break free of the TV addiction. Anyways, I am starting over again. Looking back on some earlier posts I made it a fairly long time without television. Thank you for your support so far as I continue on this journey.
